Building A – Elevator 1 is Down!

Building A – Elevator 1 is Down!

Elevator 1 is down and will take 12-16 weeks for the part to arrive and for ThyssenKrupp Elevator to repair.

In the meantime please use the stairs if you can.

If you need to book the elevator for service (move-in/out, pick-up/delivery), note that you can do so only 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Saturday until elevator #1 gets fixed.

Carpet Selection Notice

New carpets are coming! and, YOU get to choose it!

The buildings are close to ten years old now and we need to replace the carpets. So far, the ground floor carpets were done. We are proceeding to replace carpets for both buildings on the remaining floors.

There are now six samples placed inside the “Theatre Room” with a selection sheet to collect all of the input from our owners. Please make your first and second choices known to us.

We will collect all the data and make your (majority) number one choice our selection for the buildings.

This selection process will end in about 2 weeks.

Come out and meet your neighbours and enjoy some pastries and refreshments on us. We will be playing one of two DVD movies – “Rich, Crazy Asians” and “Concert from Andre Rieu” based on attendees’ choice.

You can also meet one or more of the Directors of the Condo Corp to exchange ideas and voice any concerns you may have.

If you attend the AGM, you can find out more about the Electric Vehicle Chargers we will be installing, the new carpet replacement project, the basement parking lot repair study and the exterior repainting project next year.

Please sign up at Security no later than October 14, 2019 (Monday). We need to have an idea on the number of those who will be attending so we can prepare the refreshments accordingly.

AGM 2016 & Election of Board Director

The Annual General Meeting of our Condominium Corporation YRSCC No. 1173 will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. (Official notice will be sent to owners shortly.)

This year, we have One (1) Director position open for election.

  • One Director position for a three-year term

 

Anyone who wish to run for the office, please contact the Management Office to complete a resume form.

Resumes received by 3 pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 will be distributed in the Annual General Meeting package.  Resumes received after that date but no later than noon on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, will be distributed to unit owners attending the meeting.  If you do not wish to have your resume pre-distributed, or are responding to last-minute inspiration you may simply be nominated at the meeting.

All candidates will need to be nominated from the floor during the meeting, and self-nominations are also acceptable.
